I'm a picky eater, always have been always will be. I do try things at least once... most of the time. I don't eat meat on the bone it really grosses me out.

No I’m not lying! I got this recipe out of Double Delicious. The new Jessica Seinfeld cookbook. She uses chickpeas, applesauce, and wholewheat floor. (which I have never used before in baking) They are not quite like regular chocolate chip cookies, they are more moist and muffin like. But I think they are a great alternative and a healthier option to chocolate chip cookies. (My husband and his friend loved them so I think they past the test!)
The recipe makes about 20 cookies. The serving is one cookie- 135 cal, 20g carb, 3g protein, 5g total fat, sodium 135mg, 2.5g fiber. You could make the cookies smaller so you can trick yourself into thinking you are having more by eating two small cookies then 1 big cookie. If you do that I would use mini chips so there are more in each cookie. You can find this recipe and a lot more in Double Delicious. (Buy it at Target it’s 30% off!)
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup apple sauce
1 cup almond milk
1 egg white
These muffins are a healthy alternative to regular blueberry muffins I just took a muffin recipe I found in my cookbook and substituted the oil for apple sauce and the milk with almond milk. I also cut out the yolk of the egg and instead of 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour I used 1 cup whole wheat flour and 3/4 cup all purpose flour.Nutritional Info
3oz turkey- 60 cal
1 serving of fresh mozzarella- 70 cal
sliced tomato- 5 cal
wrap- 110 cal
So easy to make and really yummy! You can even put basil on the panini too which I didn’t have.

I go searching for other healthy blogs and all I find are girls putting how they want to lose 10 pounds in a month or look like a Victoria secret model. They put up pictures, and honestly I hate it. I think the shows like biggest loser and I used to be fat are NOT realistic at all. They go to the gym for 6 hours a day… that’s almost a full time job. Once they don’t have the time to go to the gym for 6 hours a day they will gain weight back. You have to burn more calories then you eat to lose weight and if you stay eating the same but working out less, well you do the math. I think people should worry about living a longer and healthier life not worry about the size 2 jeans you fit in. Yes it is great to have a goal but when you don’t make that goal how do you feel? I know I don’t feel great, even if I lost 20 pound, if the shirt makes me look fat then I still feel like crap. If you set your goal to eat more fruits and vegetables and lean meats, you will feel better when you succeed that goal! So lets try realistic and positive goals and see where that gets us! :-)
Strawberry Coconut Protein Shake
3/4 cup low fat plain yogurt- 110cal
1/2 scoop protien powder- 50cal
5 strawberries- approx 12 cal
1 Tbs coco loco- 70 cal
6 ice cubes
Blend all ingredients together and drink!
You can make so many different kinds of protein shakes you can add more protein or yogurt they are so easy and so healthy you get your fruits, protein, and low fat dairy all in one punch!

Homemade Pizza for lunch!
1 medium size wrap- 110cal
2 Tbs pizza sauce- 30 cal
2 servings fresh mozzarella- 140cal
Fresh cut up vine tomato
dried chopped onion
Bake 400 for about 10 min or till you think it’s done and enjoy!
Adding the garlic powder and onion was a great touch for me and the fresh mozzarella tastes so much better then the packaged kind and the vine riped tomatoes just get so juice and flavorful I wish I put more on my pizza!
1/2 cup Blueberries- 45 cal
1 small Banana- about 90 cal
8oz almond milk- 60 cal
1 scoop whey protien- 100 cal
