I just loveee these little thin whole wheat things<3
They are so good toasted with a little low calorie butter spread and fruit jam!
I have been eating them for breakfast and they are only 100 calories!

Sorry I have been MIA

But I promise to get some great recipes up here soon, starting with today!

Some stuff has been going on in my life that just made things a little crazy so again sorry for not posting and it looks like I haven’t lost any followers so that’s great! Thank you<3

My boss has a Vita-max and makes the most awesome fruit drinks but there is no way I am going out and buying a $400 blender. So I went to bed bath and beyond and got one of the niga machines, I got the one that is made for single drinks and protein shakes, it comes with 4 single drink containers that you just attach the blender too and then drink out of. It was on sale for $80 and I had a 20% off coupon (gotta love coupons!) so I got it for around $65. Not to bad.

I have used it twice and am going to use it again. All I do is add cut up and pealed fruit, a couple ice cubes and blend. I’m not sure if it will work as well in my regular blender (cuisinart) but maybe that will be something I can test out for you all.

Thanks again for hanging in there and stay healthy!

Next time you make cookies look for Land O Lakes Light Butter! It has 50 cals instead of 100+ per tablespoon saving 400 calories (for the whole recipe, so divide that number by how many cookies it makes and subtract from the calorie total)! It tastes and acts the same as regular butter but is much healthier! =]

I will thanks!

Just might be my new favorite chocolate chip cookies!

Peanut butter Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients-

1/2 cup butter, cubed

1/3 cup reduced fat peanut butter

1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

 1. In a small microwave safe bowl, melt the butter and peanut butter. Stir until smooth, add apple sauce.
 2. Place in large bowl. beat in sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and then gradually add them to the peanut butter mixture. Mix well. Cover and put in the fridge for 2 hours.
 3. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake 350 for 7-9 minutes or until lightly browned. (You have to watch these carefully because I thought mine were done but they weren’t in the middle so I had to put them in for more time.) Remove and cool on a wire wrack and store in an air tight container.

I also saved half of the dough and put it in the freezer because it makes a lot. They are great to make ahead for Christmas!

1 cookie equals- 75 cal, 3g fat, 12mg cholesterol, 47mg sodium, 11 carb, 1g protein
